This is so simple and not. We are here as fellow believers to encourage you in your challenge. YeHoVaH does have you and us in his hands; it is His plan. Paul had this covered in his letter to the believers in Philippi:
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Praying is listening to YeHoVaH. Sharing your questions. Waiting, trusting YeHoVaH in His plan. Paul goes on with some tools for us.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

Yes, challenges are still in front of you. YeHoVaH’s ways are not just giggles and comfy feelings. He loves us and wants us to grow and learn. Growing and learning can hurt. The hurt is not fun, the understanding and change is worth it. These tools from Paul give us focus on the tools to our challenges.

Lord, You see the shackles of addiction that have bound him—sexual immorality, adultery,crack cocaine, weed, alcohol, and pills. We ask for a supernatural breakthrough, that the power of the Holy Spirit will break every chain of addiction in his life. We ask You to remove the desire for these substances from his life. We lift up Edna his mother and Brandy his girlfriend not his wife to You. Lord, give them the wisdom, courage, and strength to stop enabling Mike’s addiction. We pray they would no longer bear a load that is not theirs to carry, but instead, allow Mike to face the consequences of his actions so he can seek true recovery. “But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.” — 1 Timothy 5:8 (Help them to provide true help, not destruction)Father, please give Edna and Brandy the strength to set firm boundaries, and to love Mike by encouraging him to get help rather than enabling the behavior that is destroying him. Surround all of them with Your protection and guidance, leading them away from darkness and toward the light of recovery. “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” — 1 Corinthians 10:13 We declare a total breakthrough, healing, and restoration for this family, in Jesus Christ name amen.
